Assistant Manager

Job Description

Our client is a van rental company based in Poole looking for an assistant manager to assist with the operation.

The successful candidate will have a driving licence and for insurance purposes be 25 or over. The role will involve liaising with customers to confirm requirements and taking payment as well as dealing with Ad Hoc bookings, checking forms have been competed correctly, taking payments, checking driving licences, working with the yard staff to ensure the vans are clean and tidy and ready to go out, assist with basic valeting and minor maintenance work such as replacing bulbs when necessary, checking oil and water levels and ensuring the yard is clean and tidy.

No experience necessary as full training will be given. A good working attitude, friendly character, respectable appearance and the ability to interact with customers face to face and on the phone are the key attributes required for this position.

The working week is Monday to Friday 08.00 – 18.00 and every other Saturday. The starting / training salary is £10 per hour then negotiable after the training and probationary period.
