Cleaner – Local Authority Buildings – £12.86 per hour

A fantastic opportunity now exists to join our client, New Forest District Council.

The duties include:-

• Cleaning council owned buildings at extra care housing and communal housing buildings and areas.
• Minor external cleaning such as bin stores, pathways and steps.
• Periodic deep cleaning as required. This may involve removing graffiti, working at reasonable heights and using carpet cleaners and jet washers, for which full training will be provided.
• Report any damage, vandalism or necessary repairs required.
• Ability to work as both part of a team and alone

Experience:-

• Previous cleaning experience is necessary.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment correctly, including chemicals.

Desirable:-

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• Driving license in order to drive company vehicles when required.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to Lymington to begin work at 0800.

The hours are:-

Monday to Thursday 0800-1600

The rate of pay is £12.86 per hour.
